Ok so getting a bit burned out with the fruit and veg tracker app. So I've decided to have some fun today - challenged myself to design, code and release an app in one day. Having an absolute blast! Amazing how moving quickly can actually produce better results #indieDev

Ok so the Vs code emotional breakdown was caused by Firebase which caused some kind of internal screaming. So after many days trying to figure it out I've ripped it out and switched to supabase. MUCH easier took like ten minutes!

What are people's thoughts on "vibe coding"? I think AI is fantastic but if you don't understand what it's doing you're asking for trouble, IMO. It should be a tool not a master

Always used to try and do a big coding marathon at the weekend but I'm finding it much more productive to just do a little every day and let momentum build #indieDev #appDev

Been working on graphs today, showing all kinds of correlation between fruit and veg intake and energy/mood/sleep etc. My inner data nerd is overcome by joy 😅🤓

I also have a foster called Jasper! He likes to loaf as well although not with this level of skill 😅

Home page was starting to feel super cluttered so I've parred it down to just the core aspects. Thoughts?

I am leaning towards the grandma design

Had a chat with chatgpt about my app design and then the same chat with Claude. The upshot is that Claude thinks chatgpt is a generic simpleton who wants every app to look the same, whereas chatgpt thinks Claude's design looks like a grandma made it #LLMWars

My cat is by far my most judgemental co worker. He never has any constructive coding suggestions though except to occasionally walk on my laptop #wfh
