What appears as grassroots "child protection" is actually a coordinated theocratic strategy to impose specific religious interpretations through secular law.

What's really behind this? These petitions are part of the "Seven Mountains Mandate" - a theological movement that seeks to establish Christian dominion over seven key areas of society: government, education, media, arts/entertainment, business, family, and religion.

Don't be misled by the neutral-sounding language. These initiatives would harm vulnerable young people and families while restricting evidence-based medical care. Real child protection doesn't require deceptive ballot language or culture war tactics.

This language pattern is designed to make harmful policies sound reasonable and bipartisan. Similar tactics have been used nationwide to pass legislation that medical professionals, child welfare experts, and major pediatric organizations oppose.

• Claiming to support "parental rights" while actually removing decision-making from families
• Presenting debunked statistics as neutral facts

The discourse strategy is deliberate:
• Using "protect children" framing to mask discriminatory policies
• Employing medical-sounding terminology to legitimize restrictions on healthcare

These ballot measures use carefully crafted "child protection" language to appear politically neutral, but they hide their true purpose: restricting healthcare access, undermining parental rights, and targeting LGBTQ+ youth and families.
