🎉 Break the Rules Day – Amazing Success! 🎉

A huge thank you to all the children who got involved in Break the Rules Day – your creativity and enthusiasm made it a day to remember! Together, we raised an incredible £281.15 for the school. Your support truly makes a difference!

The Year 6s had a great day at Bromley FC taking part in the Junior Citizenship scheme. They learnt how to stay safe in a fire, how to administer first aid and how to use public transport safely. Very valuable life skills to prepare them for their next chapter at secondary school.

This week was Sky Arts Access week and in Year 5 we watched a tutorial by Marvel comic artist, Will Sliney, as he instructed us how to use simple shapes to create a superhero!

In Art in Year 4, we have been creating our own creatures using a combination of animals and inanimate objects.

Year 6 had their 'Enterprise Day' today to raise funds for their end of year activities. Thank you to all the children who came along to play their games! Also thank you to our Year 6s for supplying prizes for all the children to enjoy. We raised a staggering £425.35! We hope you all had fun.

Year 5 are enjoying a trip to London Aquarium today to explore sea life, seeing exactly why our oceans are so important to so many creatures. This builds on what we have previously learnt during our geography topic on Oceans.

In Reception, we dressed up as superheros and pirates.
We did lots of fun activities throughout the day, treasure hunt and a super hero workout with our PE coach. We also made super smoothies in the afternoon.

Over the past few weeks, Year 5 have been studying different artists techniques, taking visual notes on their styles and have begun to create their own mixed media cityscape or landscapes in the style of a chosen artist.

In Year 6 this week, we started our new science topic: Light. We learnt about how we see things and drew diagrams of the eye.

Year 2 have done some excellent work from a Geography lesson on maps #Scottsparkprimary

As part of our Art project on 'bold colour', Year 6 created mini light boxes to represent a room of their choice. They used a range of materials to create colour.

Year 5 are creating their own versions of Vincent van Gogh's still life painting, 'Sunflowers'. They look amazing

It's British Science Week and at Scotts Park our amazing PSA have funded a series of workshops for the children. Silly Science at it's best!

In Science, we looked at the evolution story ‘Moth’ and learnt about how the peppered moths had to change and adapt to survive due to environmental changes.

In Year 5 we have been making Skellig models this week.

Year 5 went to Leeds Castle yesterday and had a fun filled day of exploring.
