I don't know Snoop, and I can't judge his motivations. He's not been a great person, but has remained true to his character, which has never been virtuous either. He is an aging rapper, a hustler, and a B-list celebrity. By all means, judge him as you deem fit. For me, this is business as usual.

I take your point and true, I have no respect for him. But Snoop has never pretended to have a moral compass. Never deviated from his primary goal of making money. He made music to get out of the streets and that lack of pretense is refreshing in an era of celebrities virtue signalling.

I respect Snoop for having absolutely no morals when it comes to getting paid. I mean, he hosted a TV show with Martha Stuart, for F's sake. Is anyone surprised he doesn't care what political party is in power?

Latibulate To hide in a corner until the situation improves.

How am I just hearing of the word "Latibulate?" It means to hide or seek refuge, often in a quiet place, to escape reality, find solace, or protection. Girl, 2025 is going to be the year of Latibulation. Most likely, so will 2026, 2027, and 2028.

Josh nails it. Locking up all your merchandise feels anti-consumer and breaks the browsing experience of a physical store. Treating everyone like thieves is never good as an experience.

The Straight Story is one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever seen. It’s on Disney+, so do yourself a favor and take a break from all the Marvel and Star Wars (I love ‘em both, that’s not a dig!) and watch something that’ll help you remember why people can and should be sentimental.

Agreed, Dems are really impotent in the face of actual, identifiable problems. After the election, I realized that Democrats, of which I was one, need to stop complaining and commenting and do something. We pay these people to govern, not just to winge. We need a new party.

This stopped being a joke and became a legit question when you turned 40.

Oh I still remember how they extolled the virtues of 3D televisions… and then didn’t. I have been a hard skeptic ever since. The Steam Deck is the most recent device I took a risk on and that was only because I was burned previously by the Ouya.

In other parts of the country success is having a nice house, fancy car, vacationing somewhere exotic, maybe an instagram photo of you laughing on a roof deck under a full-moon with a glass of wine. In NYC it is being able to afford rent.

After having stayed in Las Vegas for work over a month, it is depressing to see people work only to spend everything at the casino. Sad people at 8 AM hitting the slots.

Thanks for the run down. Impressive list of games–some I hadn’t heard of. With kids I’m still hammering through games of 2022 like they are current.

I seriously love my Steam Deck as a parent. Being able to pick up and put down games between constant and immediate requests from my children has allowed me to game again. Chipping away minute by minute. #steam
