A big bowl of chicken noodle is high on my list of favorites but roasted tomato soup will always be #1.

We all know a warm cup of kindness comes in many forms. When I make a pot of soup, it is nearly always enough to feed an army. Those time-worn recipes grow over time, and love seasons it to perfection. I make it to warm my home, to cure a cold, and warm a soul.

I loved the description for National Soup it Forward day too: "National Soup it Forward Day on March 3rd encourages us to deliver love and kindness by the bowlful.

Sometimes I write lines that just hit right. The ones I love best aren't always the ones you guys respond to most and sometimes it's the other way around. But I think we can all agree that the soup line just hits perfectly.

When I realized March 3rd was National Soup it Forward day, only one thing came to mind: Gabriel & Lance.

The soup scene is one my favorites and Gabriel's line "You make me soup. How can I not fall for a man who makes me soup?" is one of my all-time favorites.

I did! I wish it had ended on a better note (here’s a hearty ‘fuck you’ to the USA men’s hockey team) but I did watch them and enjoy them for the most part.

I am looking forward to watching the Paralympics next!
