HAPPENING NOW IN MILAN

Hundreds of people have gathered at Piazza XXV Aprile in Milan for an anti-ICE protest.

This comes after it was announced an ICE unit will deploy to Italy for the Winter Olympics. Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala said that ICE would not be welcome in his city.

Wow. It's going down to -30 here this weekend. I'll take that over your weather.

Sadly, there is no support to attend conferences anymore. I was told last year that I could only go if I either paid for my supply teacher myself or found someone else to pay for them. Sigh.

My school's Relay for Life event was yesterday. We raised an amazing $146,888.00! The students showed spirit, determination, and community and made us all so proud.
