Years ago, we saw a sneak preview of MARS ATTACKS with a perfect sci-fi fan crowd - packed house, raucous laughter, everyone loved it. Heather took a friend weeks later, in a half-empty theater with mundanes, and it fell completely flat. She couldn't place why she found it so funny the first time.

Exactly - just last weekend, I saw ARMY OF DARKNESS again, but theatrically. Completely different experience than at home, especially since we had a very full theater... I love being in a room with an appreciative crowd...

Done, and done.

Man, I'd love to hit one of the Nashville shows, but my mother would probably kill me for ditching the family while we're in town for the holiday... :(

Some of the blame has to lie with chains like Regal, tho - I wouldn't be surprised if they're not screening it because of distribution percentages, like when they feuded with Dreamworks back in 1999, which hurt films like GALAXY QUEST when they were blocked from those venues..

You know, I've known the actual name for years, but growing up, I coulda sworn that was King VitaMIN...

It may sound cliched to say this, but STAR WARS.

I made a bunch of popular SW fanfilms with friends, and that led to me working on licensed SW properties. But SW also stoked my interest in filmmaking and VFX, which directly led to my involvement with other licenses, and my own documentaries.

Shirshov Institute in Moscow, a guy named 17| Professor I. I did that through a mutual friend 18 of ours, a guy named , who is one of the preeminent underwater cinematographers in the world. And had been on a 20 submersible expedition out to Titanic the previous year with the 21 Russians. And that was organized by a Canadian company that was 22 doing an IMAX film which was released under the title Titanica.

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."
