A tarot illustration inspired by the Knight of Swords, featuring Ulric Cousland (my own customized warrior human noble from Dragon Age Origins) wearing a black armor with black fur. He's facing out of the canvas, determined expression on his face, which is bleeding. (Technically, it's a burn wound from a crazed mage in a Circle, but you know how it is with aesthetics.) He's holding the Summer Sword (originally a greatsword of Loghain's most loyal lieutenant and a sword he punished Loghain with, I just added the little thorns/teeth on the blade, bc again. *Aesthetics*). In his damaged ear, he's wearing an earring Zevran gave him. 'It's the one thing that will make this side of me handsome,' he said upon receiving it. He's surrounded by a pack of dark wolves. Character reference sheet for two outfits of a character named Zacharius Kazakh, a blood mage from Tevinter and past companion to Jim Trevelyan, the Inquisitor. His first outfit is called "Minrathous Streets" - for while he is running errand in town. This outfit has many shapes suggesting Zach is a big dragon nerd - dragon wings, spiky shapes and red/black/silver color scheme. Second outfit is called "Leisure Suit" he wears when he is staying at home in Minrathous. The outfit looks more comfy and less busy, yet still stylish the same way. He has a dark blue embroidered shawl around his waist (a gift from Inquisitor's elven wife who used to be an Orlesian tailor) and he is smoking a pipe. The rest of the sheet is filled with random sketches of Zach in various poses and situations.

Two small illustrations out of eight which I managed to finish from my last DA nostalgia session. Featuring Zacharius and my partner's boyo Rafe travelling around Thedas together as an electric monk & blood/fire mage combo.
