Well, Cyclops is the best X-Man, to start.

I really enjoyed the X-Men being superheroes aspect of the whole Utopia thing before that all fell apart.

Being on-call heroes with the Mayor of San Francisco felt while carrying on the idea of a Mutant nation seemed like it had potential.

Watching the X-Files episode "Home" today (S4 E20). One of the more horror-themed episodes of the show IMHO, and something terrifyingly easy to run in Call of Cthulhu or Delta Green. Speaking of which, has anyone ran a small group of either game akin to X-Files? Two agents looking into the weird?
