I also don't think the Giant and the Fireman are the same person much like Ronette and American Girl. The Giant was warning Cooper about Bob while the Giant was working stop Judy. 2 Birds 1 Stone.

It's like how much chaos was Bob and Leland and how much was Judy? Judy may have opened the portal to let Bob out. OAM was only supposed to stop Bob. This way, Judy couldn't expand her evil. Josie's death was the vessel to lure Bob. How I saw it.
