`Each` is one of more magical-seeming abilities in Unison, lets you write straight line code to express nondeterminism. Example -
each [1,2,3] + 1000
Ends up as a lazy mapping over the list. share.unison-lang.org/@unison/base...
Another thing is that a major draw of the classics is they had a huge amount of novelty at the time when they came out. For a modern reader, the novelty has been absorbed into the general culture, so the classics have to "work" or not based on other factors.
