I got gas today and since the last time I filled up, (which was probably a couple of weeks ago maybe even three ? I don’t drive much. Thankfully) the price has gone up $1 a gallon. Point being -a very abrupt large increase in cost. Grateful I’m no longer commuting to work.

Only reimburse what’s in inventory. Pricing on product sold was inflated and we paid for that. Reimburse the American people.

The only case in which the president is not required to seek the advance approval of Congress is when the United States has been attacked and he must act quickly to protect the country.

Now there’s a genuine military emergency at hand of a kind that federal courts have historically deferred to. It’s frightening to imagine the sinister domestic use that Trump will make of these powers—especially if Trump’s war lasts long.

The “allies“ that are supporting this are phrasing that it’s about the nukes, of course. They’re trying to find a way to phrase it and make it acceptable. They know it’s not but they also know if they don’t back the orange menace they could be next and they’re scared of the bully. It’s all effed up.
