Both of those areas were great. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve was very cool. Get a guide. You’ll see a lot more.

This particular siting was in the Bijagua de Upala area, north of Monteverde. Specifically, the Tapir Valley Nature Reserve. It was one of our best stops.

Beautiful little guy. Costa Rica is an amazing place for birding! We had a great time there.
