In a modern au, would your oc enjoy musicals (films, broadway, animated kids movies, etc)? What would be their favorite/least favorite musical and/or song? Do they enjoy theatre in their canon storyline, or do they detest it?

(5) Both of his romantic interests, Astarion and Gortash, and even some of his closest friendships like that with Halsin and Wyll, share these traits in one way or another. Astarion was definitely the most compatible for a romantic partner for Cadaver, being his only long term romantic partner

(4) Being able to balance the violent and rough, serious and stoic, vulnerable and emotional, and sweet and affectionate is also important to maintaining a stable and content relationship with him. His relationships and dynamics are complex and versatile, same as him.

(3) He spent decades believing that no one could relate to or understand him and his struggles. Having someone who understands what he’s been through and can help and support him free of judgment or fear (and vice versa) is very valuable to him in both romantic and platonic relationships

(2) Cadaver is very much the kind of person who believes he must constantly be the reliable provider and protector of his companions, so having someone who's willing to care for, protect, and stand by him in return is very important and meaningful for him

It’s a lot closer to how I view Cadaver in my minds eye and how I draw him, but yeah I was kind of bummed out that I couldn’t give him the stubble he has in game

Cadaver is definitely more comfortable when he’s in the more dominant position, letting his partner relax and let him do all the hard work. However, he’s more than happy with Astarion taking the wheel

In a modern au, what does your oc's shower set-up look like? Do they share it with their so? If their so is their partner, do they ever shower together?

Cadaver and Astarion rarely ever have sex (Astarion having a complicated relationship with sex and Cadaver having a low sex drive) but when they do, theres always a lot of cuddling, snuggling, and gentle questions and affirming little praises afterwards as they decompress and calm down.

Really wanna answer this with a little illustration to go with, but Ive been horrible at drawing consistently lately. Is it alright if I just answer in a comment for now instead of quoting?

So in some screenshots, he either looks like he has heterochromia or, if the screenshot is outdated, he won’t have his half blindness at all
However, I always draw him with a blind eye, and he has one in canon. Just wanted to clarify that because it’s been annoying me lately

CADAVER IS HALF BLIND.
in-game, Cad usually has the hag eye, giving him his blind appearance (story-wise Orin blinded him) but without it, he needs someway to look blind and I haven’t been able to find a good way to give him that look without it looking like he has one blue eye

Jim Hopper may or may not have been my biggest inspiration for Cadaver, and while rewatching st I really realized how fundamentally similar they are
