I am, according to an NHS CBT therapist, too traumatized for therapy 😆 I have to pick a trauma and do that one. 🥲

This weekend I faced one of my biggest fears and swam in the sea! I've always been really scared of the ocean, and when I was younger I would be too scared to do any more than paddle. The last time I was properly in the sea was almost over two decades ago! Proud of myself :3

It's curious how the "refugee grief" is coming in waves. Maybe as any grief does.
But tbh in a way, it was easier to cope with my mother's death, than with this.
Not because it wasn't a huge grief, or it was less. But because it's something widely familiar. Something most people lived through.

It's ALL of these things. 'Pornography' is specifically used by conservative groups as a 'catch all' for anything they don't like but it also very much is and always has been about censoring sexuality. The sexuality of EVERYONE is policed but anyone who isn't a cishet white guy gets it 100x worse

I have to remind myself that existing as a disabled trans queer person is political in itself, but the GUILT is still there, ya know?

I often feel bad because I don't talk a lot about political stuff, but that's usually because someone else has said it better than me and I'd rather boost other people than add my rambles to the pot. It means my content ends up being cute silly nonsense and my RPs are about the world being on fire.

You cannot keep calling Bluesky a "decentralized platform" while it's bowing down to a government and aiding in their censorship.

We are not "in control of our experience" anymore.

No one is going to feel safer.
