Why did I drop the price? It gets lots of views but no sales except when Ive run a sale on it. No one has bought it full price. I *could* run another sale on it, but I’d rather the actual price was honest, transparent and fair.
The new price is still slightly above average, but closer to the median

Why did I choose a high price point?
Its about valuing what the pattern contains, the work that goes into it. And also the value it offers.
This pattern (in my opinion) offers value. It has sleeve options, and in all sizes from toddler to 5XL (64” chest). It could be bought once, made many times.

Marley Park pattern by Ciara Doyle This is an easy top down raglan pullover which can have either short or long sleeves. It has a button opening neck with contrasting collar and cuffs, giving it a sporty look.

Price Drop!
I released this knitting pattern in the summer.

I've decided to drop the price, as it was admittedly set at the high end of the range. Not a temporary sale, just a new, lower price.

Interested in how designers choose a price point? I will explain in the comments…

Cute crochet and knitting colour combinations for baby - The Fairythorn When planning colour combinations for baby for a crochet or knitting project, do you use pink and blue? Or do you hunt for gender-neutral?

Today's blog post looks at the idea of gender neutral colours for knitting and crocheting baby clothes. It takes a little dive into the history of how pink and blue were linked to girls and boys, then looks at other colour options for baby knitting or crochet.

So bright and cheerful! As for the abandoned jumper... It can be hard to do, but looking back next year you will probably feel you learned something from the experience. Or so I tell myself in those kinds of situations, so I hope its true 🀣
