You have to almost admire the sheer dedication to incompetence this administration has, to go from accusing 643 counties and cities of having "sanctuary policies" to... 22.

A casual 97% drop between lists; indicative of seriously rigorous vetting and careful, fact-based policy-making.

The billionaire CEO of the third richest company on the planet gives the President an actual block of gold so his company is exempted from US Government tariffs. And the whole thing is broadcast live on TV.

Anyone who can't see what is happening to this country is unsalvageable at this point.

Why you might not know that 2024 was America's safest year since the 1960s An overwhelming majority of Americans, 64 percent, believe that crime increased across the country in 2024, according to a Gallup survey conducted late last year.

1. This week, the FBI released its comprehensive crime report for 2024, which revealed that both VIOLENT CRIME and PROPERTY CRIME reached their LOWEST LEVELS SINCE THE 1960s

This a massive story. But you might not have heard about it, even if you follow the news closely.

Here's why.

The Constitution dictates that the census is a count "all persons" conducted every "ten years." Donald Trump has no power to alter either the timing or who is counted.

Congress doesn't want to talk to Alex Acosta, Epstein's 'sweetheart deal' maker Acosta, who previously was Trump's labor secretary, wasn't named in a list of people a House committee subpoenaed.

The House committee's subpoena list for matters tied to Jeffery Epstein excluded Alex Acosta — who was the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida whose secret non-prosecution agreement with Epstein created a spark that has turned into an inferno of controversy nearly 20 years later.

E.P.A. Moves to Cancel $7 Billion in Grants for Solar Energy

At a time when electricity prices are rising, it is unconscionable for the EPA to deny access to clean, cheap energy for those who can least afford it.

The Solar for All program was expected to generate $350 million in annual savings for low-income and disadvantaged households—and create 200K jobs.

In photos: Voting Rights Act of 1965 turns 60 Here are some images that led to the law that transformed the U.S.

Before the Voting Rights Act, obstacles to voting were widespread—especially for people of color.

Poll taxes.

Literacy tests.

Intimidation.

Violence.

These weren’t isolated phenomena. They were systemic tools of oppression.

The VRA aimed to put an end to these egregious and racist practices.

80 Years Ago, Nuclear Annihilation Came to Japan

The death, destruction, and suffering endured by the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is unfathomable.

In a matter of days, so many beliefs and ideas were turned upside down.

About the power of science.

About what constitutes just warfare.

About the awful devastation human beings are capable of.

80 years later, that power—that specter of destruction—looms larger than ever.

But so too does the potential for disarmament.

For a real, permanent peace.

I’ve long supported efforts to reduce our nuclear arsenal, oppose new weapons, and work toward a future free from the threat of annihilation.

Nuclear nonproliferation is more than a policy debate. It’s a moral responsibility.

Like every great moral endeavor, it’s one that requires vigilance, courage, compassion, and an unwavering belief that we *can* build a better world—and a safer, saner one, too.

If we're willing to work together.

White House has no plan to mandate IVF care, despite campaign pledge President Donald Trump has said he wants a “baby boom,” but critics say his administration has yet to make significant family policy changes — and that Medicaid cuts will hurt.

Donald Trump, self-proclaimed "Father of IVF," promised to make IVF available to everyone, but surprise—he LIED.

Instead, he slashed health care for 17 MILLION Americans and forced premiums to go up.

Trump is making your health care more expensive.

The CFPB has returned more than $21 billion directly to consumers who got ripped off. Republicans in Congress have seen it work for families across the country – but they’re trying to kill the agency anyway.
