Somehow we keep ending up with Republican FBI directors no matter who the president is

Somehow we keep ending up with Republican FBI directors no matter who the president is
15.10.2025 23:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Every bill you have has gone up since Trump took office-- electricity/energy, insurance (home, car, & health), internet, you name it. Everything costs more.
FIRE THE GOP.
Yeah it was doomed. I said back in 2021 that I believed it would be most advantageous for Biden to announce right before the midterms that he would be retiring and allow her to serve out the remainder of the term and run as the sitting president who was pursing her big agenda.
15.10.2025 22:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Absolutely, it requires a constitutional amendment & those are basically impossible these days.
What really got me is that man winning the popular vote...I cannot help but think there was some tampering. And now Dominion Voting systems-who publicly sued Trump- sold their company to a GOP operative.
I'm not so sure that the right-wing machine isn't persuading people..
This is why Dems are so lost. We need to wake up & realize what we're up against Hakeem.
Popularity is non-transferable in politics. If you could transfer it, Obama would have been able to win the election for Hillary and for Kamala and everyone else he campaigned for in high profile races
15.10.2025 21:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Exactly. This nation is ridiculous when it comes to elections.
I have wanted a woman to be president since I learned about presidential elections. Others don't seem to want the same.
I know right..I was thinking it cannot be true that he was that young lol but he really was!
15.10.2025 18:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0*52 for Carter.
15.10.2025 18:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Okay, i'm gonna go slowly so you can understand what I said in previous posts.
I said every democratic nominee who was 51 years and younger won 2 terms (they were undefeated.)
Next, I said no Democratic nominee over age 55 ever won the presidency except Biden, he was the outlier. Carter was 53.
Okay, but you're literally ignoring history, because I am talking about far *more* than two people.
Pres. Biden is literally the ONLY Democrat who won a presidential election over the age of 55.
It makes him a total outlier.
Very true. Republicans typically don't care because they know their base +independents will promptly vote for whomever the republican replacement is, whereas if Dems die in office, the race could easily become a toss up or a flip to Republicans. Republicans have more electoral security.
15.10.2025 17:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The other interesting stat is that *No* Democratic Nominee over the age of 55 ever won the presidential election except Joe Biden, so he would be considered an outlier.
15.10.2025 17:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dems do overcorrect, however Dems have nominated older folks before, they just don't win consistently.
I think when swing voters vote for Democrats in presidential elections, it's because they want a fresh face (which leads to the young nominee). When they vote republican, they want a hard nose.
I'm talking about being the actual nominee in this case. Typically, democratic nominees under a certain age are undefeated in presidential races.
15.10.2025 17:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It didn't happen that way for republicans. In fact it's almost the exact opposite case with them.
Their successful 2 term presidents got elected over the age of 50 as this current criminalin the office, Bush, Reagan, on and on. It's the weirdest thing
I know right! There's an interesting quirk in Democratic history that I've learned.... every successful 2-term Democratic president was elected to the presidency for the 1st time at age 51 and under, but none have been above that age and went on to serve 2 terms.
15.10.2025 16:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Why? Because she won 2 statewide races in Maine?
15.10.2025 16:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0He was running against an incumbent. Incumbents typically have far less yard signs out.
This Jersey race is an open one.
Democrats gave learned virtually nothing from 2024.
It feels like we're stuck in 2010.
Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., is running for Senate. βWeβre in a crisis. And with everything we learned last election, I just donβt believe Senator Markey should be running for another six-year term at 80 years old,β he says in his announcement video. Moulton is 46; Markey is 79.
15.10.2025 12:42 β π 274 π 55 π¬ 29 π 38This silly woman will cruise to re-election.
Maine must do better.
She wasn't... the youngest candidates were in their 40s like Obama Clinton and FDR...Kamala was more toward the older side at 60. Bush Jr was 53.
15.10.2025 16:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Yes Bernie and Liz are too old and it's time for them to pass the torch.
15.10.2025 16:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've been warning people that the voters aren't sold on Democrats and haven't turned away from Trump & his party enough yet..
15.10.2025 16:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Why are we still doing these empty threats. He's not moved.
Just go to court already!
Democrats and late night hosts, you are not obligated to applaud Trump for inking the very deal that he literally blocked during the Biden administration.
He did the same thing with the ceasefire that he did with Biden's border bill.
Other countries laugh at Trump, yet the stroke his ego and sing his praises because they genuinely fear him in some respects.
It is a crazy world we live in...everyone is so transactional.
Before you rush to shower Trump with praises for the "ceasefire," don't.
14.10.2025 22:14 β π 7 π 3 π¬ 2 π 0...Since Trump entered the political conversation in 2011 and since Mitt Romney taught every GOP nominee how to lie without flinching in 2012.
