The Dagger of Amon Ra initially had copy protection. When you failed it, the characters would make fun of you. The CD version removed this. But (most) of the voice lines were recorded, even though they're not accessible! youtu.be/1Xv2kTn-Wac

Wow, this looks like a great game about playing fetch with innocent dogs. I bet it was designed by a real gentleman and I'm sure SQH loved it.

"Your game makes no sense, and I can't finish it, and it keeps crashing, because it's made by Sierra." Probably.

Really saddened over what Adventure Gamers has become. It was THE resource for adventure game news for almost 25 years. Seeing my first games reviewed there in the early 00s was the biggest thrill in the world. To see it turn into THIS is heartbreaking. Enshittification destroys everything.
