The second you leave this country for even a few days, you realize the place you call home is decaying at an almost exponential pace. The realization that you don't have to live like this is stark, and that nobody in power is taking tangible actions to fix it in your lifetime is even starker.

I'm alive, barely, but did do some art recently, My lovely OC Mara, in a dress created by @sugarcollars.bsky.social , saw it over on Twitter and had to draw it

I would think after 4 years I would be better, and I am, but I am still very fragile to it. And yet cause of family court, I am still forced to communicate and cater to a man whose last moment of putting hands on me was around my neck all for the sake of joint custody.

Real ones remember the times I was stuck in the room scared and only getting work done on an iPad that I had monthly payments on under my name just so he couldn't claim he got it for me and take it away.

I would ask him if there was anything wrong with it and he made me believe for months that there was something wrong with my computer. Sabotaging so many growth opportunities in streaming. I was going crazy.

And then when I did get it working he would start an argument with me and rip it all apart

Obs kept crashing and my brain decided to give me the bad flashbacks on how my ex would rip access to friends/work online by blocking my IP to the Internet whenever he felt like it.

so I'ma just be quiet till the moment passes.
