Remembering Roger Pratt BSC (1947-2024) It is with deepest sadness that we learn of the passing of Roger Pratt BSC (1947-2024).

Sad to hear of the passing of the great cinematographer Roger Pratt. Between just Brazil and Batman alone, he burned into a generation a wealth of taste defining visuals. Beyond that he had a huge body of memorable, versatile work across many genres.

The Christmas Doctor Who was utterly Joyful. Big congratulations to all concerned. Especially Anita.

OK, I'm going to really commit myself to BlueSkying. Probably mostly just recommending good books/plays/films. So to start: Just finished the terrifically unpleasant DELIVER ME by Elle Nash. One of the best books I've read this year. If I hadn't been a vegan before reading it, I sure would be now...

I'm still delighted that the French version of Great British Bake Off uses Doctor Who music.
