World Otter day, May 28, designed to raise awareness about otters, their importance, and protect these incredible creatures. All 13 species are listed in the IUCN Red List. Major threats are habitat destruction and degradation, hunting, trapping, illegal trade for furs and pets, and climate change.

The one on the left may actually be a wild bunny, but the one on the right is definitely a domesticated breed and very ill-equipped to live on his/her own. Tragically, if they are lucky to even live beyond ~ 4 months, they breed "like rabbits". Repeat. Sad.
