#rstats 4.5.3 "Reassured Reassurer" scheduled for March 11. Full schedule on developer.r-project.org (or the svn if you're impatient.) This should be the wrap-up release for the 4.5 series.

I've been exploring creative coding with #rstats
Zenn recently auto-generated an English version of my Rtistry article using AI.
It's machine-translated, but readable enough.
If you're curious about what I'm building with R, feel free to check it out!

A Japanese garden with trees covered by traditional yukitsuri ropes, reflected in a pond
A blooming plum tree in front of a traditional Japanese building.
A walkway beside a large lotus pond in an urban park, with people walking in the distance.
A mountain range viewed from a town with buildings in the foreground.
Here are a few experiments from my recent image-filter work.
I've been developing custom filters for creative coding, and tried applying the newest ones to some photos I shot myself. It might sound unbelievable, but all of these visuals were processed entirely by writing #rstats code.
I totally understand that reaction, and I'm genuinely happy people feel that way, but I also want to create pieces that make people think "This looks amazing as visual art!" first, before anything about the tool.

When I post something, I sometimes get the feeling that the reactions come from a kind of surprise, something like "Wait, you can do this in R!?"
I've posted some of my past works on YouTube. Check them out!
