Unsurprisingly the follow up to RD1, RD2 takes it to eleven. 5 levels. Multiload, but allowing you to start from 1-4 if you like, saving the finalé for, well, last. Rightly so. #C64 platformers don't come much more well-made than this. It is a gorgeous, glorious game.

Bubble Bobble

Pure arcade perfection. Fab graphics, irresistibly catchy music and superb two-player co-op combine to create an experience that’s endlessly replayable. Cute, colourful and utterly addictive, it’s one of the greatest C64 games ever made.

#C64 #Kouyate #RPG progress: not been feeling good about things recently, so no coding progress. But have been doing some design work on weapons and armour. Planning on having 48 weapons and 48 armour items. Been watching anime on Crunchyroll to get some ideas on weapon and spell variety.

Bruce Lee

Although graphics & sound are fairly naff, when it comes to gameplay, Bruce Lee is magnificent. Brilliantly designed, ridiculously addictive & endlessly entertaining, it’s a true C64 classic — especially when you’ve got a mate playing as Yamo.
