It has been brought to my attention that the order of the tags for Strength in Numbers is very funny. I can’t stop thinking about the last two being next to each other

Maybe the real reason nobody ever thinks I’m Puerto Rican is because I actually pronounce all the letters in the words when I speak Spanish /j (SLASH J THIS IS SO A JOKE DO NOT CANCEL ME LMAO)

I did not learn Spanish from my dad (he wasn’t taught it either. The original no sabo kid) but as time has gone I’ve learned it from a mixture of Mexicans, Boricuas, and Spaniards.

But I’m also a woman from the Midwest so my pronunciation is… a thing that happens

The flag in my bio (🇵🇷) next to ES is because I am Puerto Rican, but I actually don’t know if I can definitively refer to the Spanish I speak as Puerto Rican. I think I just have a bastard mixture of many Spanish dialects 😅

Whereas Muiren has the fashion sense of most non-binary people who listen to K-pop/are in a dance cover group and I say this with all the love in my heart

(I guess they also low-key dress like Grover lmao)

If I’ve never talked about this, Celosia is almost exclusively mori girl/cottagecore stemming from the fact that her homeland is quite cold for 90% of the year + her crocheting hobby, which means she makes herself a lot of clothes

It would’ve been cool to have written MaCWtS as a graphic novel but then it wouldn’t have released until like 2034 entirely because I would’ve put so much effort into showing off how dripped out Muiren and Celosia are in completely different ways

Please don’t wait for an indie book series to be finished before you pick up the books. Just buy them. Don’t wait.

So MANY indie series never get finished because the author gets zero sales on the opening volumes and gives up.

Give them a reason to keep going.

Buy the books.

And I can’t remember socializing always being this way, but it feels so much more frequent within the past year or so.

Why does it feel like I’m no longer allowed to live without constantly justifying my existence and preferences?

It feels like every conversation I have eventually devolves into me having to form perfect defenses of every single part of who I am as a person, free of flaws or fallacy, and I get treated like I’m unreasonable because I don’t like spicy food, or something

I like socializing with other humans but I gotta admit I’m not a fan of the whole “you presented me with an opinion I don’t understand, you are now required to give me an explanation with perfect logic and formatting or else I’ll look down on you” that keeps happening to me
