Life in the past two months has been rather interesting, to say the least. I felt like I did back in the early 2000s when joining online communities and meeting new people online was something I did. Did it again this year and met so many interesting people of various ages.

You have opportunity after opportunity to create something lovely for yourself or others. Every moment you choose to sit and think about horrors beyond your control, every time you make the choice to look for more and more details about just HOW bad... you are turning away from those opportunities.

Someone in my life is battling cancer. I wish I can make her understand what you’re saying. She dwells too much on the negative that it’s taking a toll on her. Even if we try to help her see what’s still good, it doesn’t last long.

The millennial experience is growing up with the internet, and watching it go from a free, open, democratic, and eclectic ecosystem to a wasteland of five websites controlled by billionaires, and now seeing it quickly fill up with AI-generated slop.

I normally won't go to past Makati when I'm in the Metro, but today I was able to commute to Las Piñas without much trouble. Thanks to the newly opened LRT 1 stations, I had a much easier—albeit lengthy—time getting to PITX. Two train rides and one bus ride.
