St Piran was Irish. Being half Irish and half Cornish myself, I enjoy this fact.

I also enjoy the irony that today thousands of Cornish men and women will celebrate his day by getting drunk and singing, because he was exiled and thrown into the sea by the Irish for preaching against alcohol.

I like to have "magic", which is plausibly explained as trickery, special effects, hypnonis, dreaming, illusion or hallucination... but with never enough information to be sure... anything is (subjectively) possible without violating realism.
