If you are a new or experienced driver your number one job while behind the wheel isn’t getting to work on time, it’s making sure you prioritize the safety of vulnerable road users not your convenience. If you’re unable to do this, plz return your vehicle. You aren’t qualified to drive on our roads.

This argumentβ€“β€œwe’re not based in your market, even though we operate in your market and earn revenue in your market and compete with domestic businesses in your market” has been at the heart of the tech debate for the last 10+ years.

Oscar-nominated actor Graham Greene dead at 73 | CBC News Graham Greene, an Oneida actor from the Six Nations of Grand River in Ontario who was Oscar-nominated for his role in Dances With Wolves, died Monday in Stratford, Ont., at the age of 73.

I am sorry to hear about Graham Greene. I met him in 2018 when we were doing an event in Charlottetown. I confided in him of my fear of public speaking. "Just take a breath after every line you speak," he said. If nothing else, you can't go wrong with that. www.cbc.ca/news/enterta...

I read Lolly Willowes a couple of years ago and couldn’t believe how modern and dystopian it is. Like the Handmaid’s Tale of its day.

I also just realized that Jersey Milk must have been named for the type of cow’s milk its chocolate was made from. We are so divorced from agriculture today.

The other thing is that human translation services cost relatively littleβ€”a fraction of what it costs to commission original literary work. When you factor in the cost of needing someone to read over and correct an AI translation, it doesn’t seem worth it.

I find no correlation between estimated travel time and actual travel time needed in many everyday instances (getting to dentist, getting to train station, etc.) I can leave 45 mins early for a 20 min trip only for it to take 15 to 75 minutes.
