The lighthouse is Point Prim Lighthouse in PEI, Canada, and is unusual among brick lighthouses in Canada for being round instead of square.

It's from July of last year, in the Rocky Mountains

Photo was taken from the side of the highway in a mountain pass. There are tall mountains with snow on them in the background, and it is beginning to grow dark. A semi truck is barely visible in the distance but the highway is otherwise empty.
