Ironically, if there's anything misleading here, it is apparently Westlaw's own editor's note. Unless I'm missing something, the opinion refers to a litigant's AI use, and includes the fake references. The court didn't use AI in drafting the opinion; rather, the litigant did -- and that's not news.

Please do, as your post can be read to mean that the court cited fake cites, which as you and others have noted, is incorrect. Thanks.
