One little nitpick, which has little -if any at all- to do with its overall quality: I would prefer full vocalizations in verse transliterations, to hear the rhythm. That reminds me, some of your verse translations are poetry in their own right. I love them 😻

It started slowly, but by Chapter 1 proper it grew on me. Still trying not to go too fast as good books have the bad habit of ending too quickly! Stumbling upon a reference to Zavier Wyndham was an extra thrill: I've been lucky to be in the same informal study group with him.
