Thanks to Science World for putting on a fascinating, fun & educational show for 120+ people at Smithers Public Library this weekend!

2024 was another busy year at the library! Even with the Canada Post strike suspending interlibrary loans & the delivery of new book purchases, we nearly matched our busiest year ever (2019).

This Valentine's Day, head to the library for a visit with the kind helpers from Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter, stars of "Wild Bear Rescue". Learn about their work with the animals & make a craft to take home.

Families -- head to the library Sat. Feb. 8 at 10:30 for an amazing show from Science World!

Free weekly early literacy programs will resume the week of January 21. :)
