Okay, Ne Zha 2 is out on streaming. Now I can show you what I meant by Ne Zha 2 being Dragon Ball Z.
When I saw this scene in the movie, I knew exactly what I was in for: a hype action flick made from someone's childhood fantasy.

Yea horror stuff just in general (books, movies, games) has that effect cause the terror is usually from the mystery and the unknown. Then once you get to the "known" it's REALLY difficult to land a satisfying answer to the mystery. Especially for long works, esp esp for works with a large audience

The casting is REALLY good yeah! Even outside of the main cast. I was wondering how they'd do the more... oddly shaped (?) characters. Like- look at this guy??? But once he started acting 🤯 he actually felt like a THREAT

OH MY GOD YES! Agile and design just don't mix and is one of the big reasons I gave up on UI design. Shipping as fast as possible is the total opposite of the design process

The number of times a design was ruined by someone in a meeting going "just add a button" or "just hide it in a burger menu"

I think swapping the laces was what made me go from "I like this abominably bad paint job" to "I love this abomination"
