Lowkey Mickey 17 gave me similar vibes as Black Mirror’s San Junipero. Both being sci fi and political satire exploring themes of “what if’s,” other worlds, death, and existentialism all while telling a romance story that isn’t nauseating and overall wholesome/bittersweet

UGH. Remembering when one of my ex-husband’s coworkers was like, “I think your wife is lying about being mixed Japanese” and my ex was like, “I’ve literally met her family and seen her JP middle name surname on every legal document ever when we got married. She’s not lying.”

I’m willing to bet your father isn’t even really Japanese native. My cousin is half Japanese (her mother married my mother’s brother) and she actually looks like Japanese you look straight up white girl.
