When @aceottorney.bsky.social first told me about this I said "this could change people's lives and stop developers from getting exploited" and having seen the final resource, I think I was not wrong. I'd call it a must-bookmark for indie devs.

Been spending a bunch of time cleaning up Vortex Siege's combat UI. Made the entire hand visible under most circumstances. I moved the player avatar to the left, and put the deck and discard on either side of the hand.

I probably need to put the enemy avatar to the side too...

Finally some good news

The front page of itch dot I O. Featured game is "Mr Magpie's Harmless Card Game" a horror deck building game inspired by inscryption and severance. In the screenshots you can see a frayed muppet that looks like Mr Rogers sitting opposite you at a table that has a grid of face down cards.

Itch just featured our game on the front page! Look at our little puppet man go. Surely there's nothing wrong with him.

A background comm for Qua-ttro on DA. Don't think I've ever painted such a warm, golden meadow like this before. Glad we've fixed that!
