Okay, one more! Yesterday, the weather was foggy, but I was pleasantly surprised by how the light managed to shine through the fog. My local park, with its birds and gators, is quite like Jurassic Park, albeit a bit safer, haha.

Thanks!! I’ve photographed so many alligators that I usually overlook them and focus on birds. However, with the lighting and the reflection, I couldn’t resist taking some shots.

How could I resist that light? Besides, they’re more like acquaintances. Imagine having a house party and someone inviting their alligator friends! Now, I think about it, I’m sure that’s happened in Florida or Texas. 🤣

Female Red-Winged Black bird perched on a branch

I am too excited not to post more. I was locked onto a Limpkin and saw something flash in the corner of my eye. She popped up on a branch for maybe 7/8 seconds. I would love to take credit for the skill here. This was pure luck.

I have been sick for the 2nd time in a month and after being laid up for the last two days I needed to get out of bed. I made it 3 miles before my lungs were annoyed, it was good to get out although it got too hot too fast. I cannot believe it’s February in 80° here. So annoying.

Good Afternoon BlueSky!! I decided to take my baby camera out today! It did pretty well although I did notice autofocus struggled a bit in areas my R5 wouldn't have issues. All in all, I got some great shots and had a lovely walk!

A speckled European Starling is not too thrilled about this snow storm. Its feathers shine purples and blues. Its beak is long and bright yellow. Snowflakes rest on its head.
