A Laysan albatross sits calmly on a sandy nest, partially shielding a fluffy, gray chick beneath her body. Her plumage is a striking contrast of dark gray wings and back, with a crisp white head and underparts. A soft black patch surrounds her dark eye, and her large, hooked beak is pale pink with a darker tip. The chick beneath her is covered in downy feathers, peeking out from under her protective stance.

This is Wisdom, the oldest known wild bird in the world. Estimated at 74 years old, this Laysan albatross has outlived multiple partners and still lays eggs, with her last chick hatching on January 30, 2025. Since 1956, she has survived earthquakes, tsunamis, and had her tag changed six times.

Xavier transitioned and became Vivian Jenna Wilson. She is alive and well and lives in Japan.

No loving parent would ever write such a disgusting thing as this, and it speaks volumes.
