I was sad to hear about Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa passing today. RIP to one of the greats.

I watched Unforgiven again as a consequence. It still holds up as one of the best westerns ever made, with some incredible performances including Hackman's best supporting actor Oscar.

Have arrived safely in Vegas. Just over 5 hours. No issues. Leaving Thursday before noon is definitely the way.

There was a small (less than an acre) fire in Oceanside a couple hours ago but it's already out. Probably just smoke from the Otay fire got pushed around last night.
