Someone asked me why and I outlined all the things I appreciate about the Assassin Trilogy as an author, editor, English PhD, MFA-holder, poet, retired prof who taught lit.... I am technically reading two! I have 'Meditations', which is a collection of diary entries from Marcus Aurelius. And for fun, I have 'Six of Crows'!

Okay, some of the actors have since had some terrible things come to light, but I love "Baby Driver". That being said, Balto is on that list of never ending repeatables too!

I'm a huge fan of esoteric spoilers, saying something that's technically a spoiler for a work of fiction but lacking all the context that would make it meaningfully spoil anything

gonna use bluesky's smaller sample size to get this out there: i fucking hate generative AI. it is by far the most useless invention of the 2020s. all it does is exist to make uncreative people lazier and also burn the ozone layer quicker than it already has been. all to make blurry, gross messes
