If it's any consolation, the days are getting longer again – light and warmth return to the world as we March towards spring 🙂

That's excellent. That reminds me, it's time to grab the remaining volumes of the manga.

I find myself asking the same thing. It feels like I was on my feet all month and didn't get a chance to catch my breath.

I feel like I stumbled into some sort of internet drama staring me, except I didn't know I was in the cast. Who is Stark700?

This has been one of the most interesting and turbulent Februarys in living memory:

✅ Insane market volatility
✅ Going from spring to winter at the drop of a hat
✅ Volunteered so much I didn't spend any weekends at home

I can't believe the month is almost past this quickly

I have noticed, for the vast majority of anime fans, this is never a problem. It's only really on two places online where people seem to "talk down" to anime characters, and as such, this is my pet peeve more than anything.

...but if you want to act like an armchair expert or backseat lecturer and point out how the characters are doing something wrong, you better damn well be prepared to defend it, especially when going against people who have done the things those slice of life anime talk about.

My most controversial anime opinion? Slice-of-life anime receive the most unfair criticisms from people, especially when they deal with topics that demand skill, like hiking, fishing, astronomy and geology. It's perfectly okay to say those shows are cute or funny...

The humble RTX 3060 Ti can run #HalfLife2RTX, if one is willing to make a few compromises. At 30 FPS and with a bit of lag, it looks and feels like what I felt #HalfLife2 to feel like back in 2004.

1 is my first choice, followed by 4. I can hold complex conversations well enough, but on any given flight, I prioritise isle seats so I can use the bathrooms and disembark easier.

It's 2026, and this post on #SakiAchigaHen is still a great read.

No problem at all. If it is any consolation, age does not determine excellence in any way. I know photographers who started at twice my age and made incredible strides with their craft. Further, you do maintain a great blog, so that's at least one thing to be proud of.

This series is 1) a good entry into Gundam and 2) enjoyable on its merits even if it is a little dated in the animation department. I think you'll like it for Lacus and Marrue 🙂

If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?

I try to count my blessings, although at the end of the day, we're all mortal, trying to figure out our next steps in a world that isn't wholly logical or fair.

Because the passage of time is unfair and relentless. I don't think I did anything of note in January and sort of lazed my way through the month, if it's any consolation.

Most of my money are in Blue-chips and Canadian Equity, but a portion of it is in US. Historically, because of how close the US and Canada are, if US markets take a hit, Canada follows, and if the US takes a win, Canada also wins.

...and that's usually when Trump coincidentally backs down on threats, which causes markets to go back up.

1) I call Trump Taco Tuesday because of the acronym Trump Always Chickens Out
2) I do have a sizeable portfolio that's sensitive to the Canadian and therefore US market
3) Taco Tuesday is a joke I'm making. In the US, Tacos are cheap on Tuesdays...

It's a combination of insults about Trump I've stitched together, based on history, memes that aren't 4chan-level crass and my own experience. I don't think I can break it down further.

Disparagingly chosen because for me, my portfolio usually recovers its losses on Tuesdays.

"Trump Always Chickens Out": utters a bad policy, never follows through, and original "Taco Tuesdays" were a North American 1980s to boost restaurant sales during the midweek.

While I'm no politics pundit, Taco-Tuesday's antics are costing me a lot of money, and they're also responsible for a separatist movement here at home.
