When I was a kid, around 1,800,000 people died every year of tuberculosis. Now, around 1,250,000 do.
That's important progress. But at this current rate, it'll take a CENTURY to push TB deaths much below 500,000 per year. That's totally unacceptable for a curable, preventable disease.
