In less than a year, Tr*mp has destroyed our nation’s reputation with his authoritarian actions along with a Congress and Supreme Court willing to let him lead the US down a path towards fascism. It’ll take years to undo the damage that has been done once Donald and the MAGAs are removed from power.

It’s a bittersweet victory for Jimmy. Sadly his show won’t be seen in Portland since Sinclair owns the local ABC station here. I imagine it’s like that for a lot of places across the country.

And because they do disagree, Tr*mp will double down on his demented take on Tylenol.

Looks like my local affiliate won’t be airing Kimmel which is all the more reason why I won’t watch most anything on KATU for the foreseeable future.

I’m in Bend, Oregon just hours away from seeing Neil Young perform finally after he canceled last year. Or was it the year before? In any case, I can hear him and/or his band do their soundcheck from my hotel room. It should be a memorable show even if my GA tix don’t get me that close to the stage.

It’s sad what happened to Charlie Kirk. At the same time I hope this is a wake up call for the GOP to actually do something about gun violence & pass restrictions on them. Not holding out much hope. They didn’t when Tr*mp got shot. They’ll likely place blame on everyone & everything but the guns.

Sadly, I remember some progressive-minded people back in 2020 who absolutely refused to vote for Biden because they believed that Joe was too inappropriate when it came to him sometimes getting a little too handsy with women, none of which was done in a sexual manner. Just his nature to be friendly.

He’s got a long ways to go to redeem himself for voting to confirm him. Same goes for all those other Republicans who are regretting their decision. Sadly, that number is not nearly as big as it should be.

Damn it! Australia has joined the list of countries putting a hold on shipments to the US due to Tr*mp’s tariffs. I just ordered a bunch of blu-rays from there as well. This asshole is causing so much damage to our country in ways I never thought were possible. The world is punishing us as a result.

Right-wing media thrives on fake news. Sadly, there’s more of it out there, be it blatant or subtle, and thus is getting picked up & believed by far more Americans which then influences how they vote. See the ‘26 election results for proof. They bought the lies & are paying the price as are we all.

If that’s the case, it’s a shame that Walz listened to them & stopped. Here’s hoping Gavin doesn’t listen to his consultants (if he has any) continues to get under Donald’s skin. Same goes for Dems across the US. We’re at a critical time in our country’s history & need to fight hard to save it.

What’s scary is that Tr*mp would rather have a fully armed citizenry (as long as they voted for him) to do his bidding than a fully informed one who can hold Donald accountable for his increasingly authoritarian actions.
