Ran a Mythic Bastionland @bastionland.bsky.social one-shot for @zedecksiew.bsky.social, @harbowoputra.bsky.social, and friends! They managed to resolve The Spider Myth without any combat! I've run four one-shots, and this one didn't have any combat! 10 out of 10 will run again. Hopefully a campaign!

Image description A short science fantasy adventure for 3 – 5 players. Inspired by Appendix N authors like Clark Ashton Smith, H. P. Lovecraft, Jack Vance, and Michael Moorcock. Spacefarers discover a dead planet and detect a single lifeform in an ancient ruin. Inside lies the last member of a knightly order, frozen alive to seal an ancient cosmic horror. If freed, he may doom the stars. If left alone, he suffers for eternity. This is an old-school style module. Critical thinking and careful exploration are needed for the player characters to survive. As the Referee, always Inform the players what they see and hear so they can make Choices that will have Impact that matters. When they investigate or ask questions, give information freely.

My partner and I have released our first old-school style #ttrpg adventure module, The Knight Errant! It's a 4-page science fantasy Mark of the Odd adventure for 3–5 players, inspired by the weird fiction authors of the early 20th century. Part of the Appendix N Jam.
