Exposed to Danger (1982)

Oscar’s most awarded actress, Katharine Hepburn earned 12 Academy Award acting nominations over the course of her career and won 4 times. Not only that, the spread is remarkable: her first win was for only her third film and her final one came almost 50 years later in 1981 for ON GOLDEN POND.

Since everyone is apparently watching Bring It On rn, I wrote about the film in the latest issue of my zine! I talk about queerness, the slang used by the characters (that’s often, imo, misinterpreted as homophobic but was meant to be a reclamation), and more. Give it a click why dontcha.

Oh for sure. But the adrenaline rush the moment that title hit was EVERYTHING.

Through sheer luck, I avoided seeing it up until a few years ago. And it just so happened to be the final film of a 24-hour Horrorthon which fell on the end of Daylight Savings. So, we'd been up for ~27 hours and the delirium mixed with the claustrophobia made for pure terror <chef's kiss>
