The irony - I don’t care for baseball, but I went to a game this year (the Braves v whoever at Bristol).

I’m not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but resources says a JRM car should have had it. At least Alligator if not Zilisch.

My god, this car is going to fail tech and it’s going to be the ugliest black eye the sport has had.

I hope this breaks NASCAR. There is zero logical reason Zilisch shouldn’t be the champion.

We all know that Heim and Zilisch both deserve to be champions in their series. They’ve dominated. The playoff format isn’t fair when you have seasons like they’ve had.

Went down a rabbit hole with my dad because in my white, Methodist family, there’s a whole group of people who are aunt and uncle and cousin that I never knew the exact relationship. They’re like 3rd cousins, but they took in my grandfather when he was orphaned.

Thinking on it, that was my dad’s mom’s side. But also his dad’s side was Aunt Beulah and Uncle Woosley. I inherited some stuff from them over the years. Never met them. They took in my grandfather when he was orphaned. I have no clue the relation.

We call all my great aunts and uncles by “Aunt” or “Uncle”. Aunt Carolyn. Aunt Jackie. Uncle Ray. But only on one side of the family (my dad’s side). Because we were raised saying that and never thought twice about the titles. Family is just like that. Doesn’t change that it’s family.

I don’t watch baseball, but I made it to the 15th inning. I gave up because I figured if I shut off the TV, they’d remember to score then.

I don’t watch baseball. It’s not my sport. But I heard Ohtani hit that ball and knew it was a homerun. (I also watched the World Series where the Diamondbacks won. Because Randy Johnson.)

You know what makes Sinners the best movie of all time for cosplay and Halloween? It has something for almost literally everybody to dress up as.

I understand this fully with the caveat “except for Alex”.
