Lost power and I’m ngl I love that this happens every couple of months here. I’m having the most relaxed night in a while. Can’t put on my shows. Ate a basic dinner. Broken out of my shitty depressing routines. Just vibing by candle light and feeling no pressure to get anything done post-shift.

Languages are so weird. I’m getting some of my German back by learning Irish XD Because when my brain doesn’t know something in Irish yet, it reaches for “non English way to say this” and the German is just there!

Also just got trolled by the “snow forecast” Facebook group with a “lol of course no snow tomorrow” post. What does it say about the climate that I had to check?

Did a camping for the weekend. Met rescued bears. My wife insisted on anime posing next to “bussy” on the falls. She also caught 2 fish to my NONE. 10/10 weekend.

* Had to stop for a porcupine on the road who proceeded to:
- hide his face, curl up , and peek out at me
- stand and stare trying to figure out what was happening
- run away screeching, but down the middle of the road
- finally veer *off* the road, while firing quills at my car

All these things are maintained by human beings, who fail a lot more under economic stress.

A lot of systems we take for granted are breaking down. This is not necessarily directly attributable to any particular policy. It’s what I call “the squeeze.” General economic contraction and reduction in the availability of necessary resources makes even the simplest things difficult.
