Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

WOW: The White House says the president's MAIN PRIORITY is his BALLROOM. SNAP is ending. Subsidies for health care are gong to double and in some instances quadruple plan premiums. The government is shut down. The cost of living is through the roof. And his priority is his ballroom.

Tim Burchett is my Rep. I went to high school with him and know him well. I’ve emailed and called his DC and Knoxville, TN offices to request he hold an in-person town hall. He has no problem jumping in front of cameras so he shouldn’t have a problem standing in front of his constituents.

If only you knew this was going to happen when you were the leader and could’ve done something to prevent it. Ohhh wait …
