it's to get the servers to not use custom verification systems, you can't really select channels if you don't have access to them

I've updated the GIF picker on desktop and mobile to load GIFs faster, using newer formats! we now prefer WebP over raw GIF and WebM over MP4. we've seen dramatic improvements to loading speeds and bandwidth usage from this change!

these changes give third-party devs more parity with the official Spotify integration and allow more flexibility in your presences!

we've shipped some cool updates to rich presence! now devs can choose which field they want to show as the status in the member list: name, details, or state. we also now support setting links for details, state, and images.

yesterday we increased the pin limit from 50 to 250, everywhere! this has been in the works for a long time and I'm glad that it's finally shipped - no more need to carefully decide which memes to unpin in the group chat!

here's normal vs reduce transparency. and yeah reduce motion disables the jiggling (but honestly the os feels very uncomfortable and laggy when I turn on reduce motion)

iirc some paid fonts do this for free trials

that doesn't make it a Discord issue. Discord still fetches the post data from Bluesky, and if Bluesky returns an error (as it was doing yesterday) then it doesn't embed.
