Seen the emboldened posts by Trump today?
Did those Senators fail to understand what they were unleashing?
I'm even angrier today than I was yesterday.

We're so glad for you, @kaine.senate.gov , that you slept well. That must be so reassuring for those whose lives are at risk and especially reassuring for Trump, who sends along his thanks.

Apple Pulls Chinaโ€™s Top Gay Dating Apps After Government Order The removal of Blued and Finka marks another setback for Chinaโ€™s marginalized LGBTQ+ community.

These companies already pulled ICE tracking apps in the US. I don't have high hopes if the Trump admin demands it, they won't also pull LGBTQ apps from their app stores.

Looking at the comments, letโ€™s get it straight: THE Democrats did not cave. It was only SEVEN Democrats. What remains clear is that Schumer is weak. Can you imagine that happening under Harry Reid? Or Pelosi in the House?

My name is Leticia James, and I represent the great state of New York, and I want to thank all of you for joining us today as we continue to fight on behalf of the tens of millions of Americans who rely on SNAP. We are fighting for their dignity. We are fighting for their survival. We know what we are fighting for, and we are crystal clear on what we are fighting against. We're standing shoulder to shoulder against the federal government's callous and repugnant cruelty. Democratic attorneys general have been working around the clock to ensure that all Americans have access to food stamps. We filed this new TRO motion last night in response to days of chaos and confusion in Washington, because apparently our federal government will stop at nothing to deny Americans their food benefits. And this morning, the court ruled in our favor yet again, and later this afternoon, we will be in court to continue this fight. Since Friday evening, the federal government has been fighting with equal parts desperation and animus to prevent Americans from using their benefits despite a favorable ruling from the district court. It should shock the conscience of everyone in our country that the federal government would willfully and indeed aggressively fight to keep food off of our tables, food away from children, babies, veterans and senior citizens and the disabled. It is shocking and disgusting. It is all the more galling when you consider that the federal government may reopen soon. What was the point of the federal government's cruelty this weekend? Why subject people to prolonged anxiety and fear? It is not an abstraction. Real people are hurting. They are hungry. They are facing impossibly difficult decisions to take care of one of our most basic human necessities, the need to eat.

U.S. strikes two more alleged drug boats, pushing death toll past 75 The attacks in the eastern Pacific Ocean, disclosed Monday by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, killed six people, he said.

U.S. forces killed six alleged drug smugglers in two separate attacks in the waters off Latin America, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, raising the death toll from President Trumpโ€™s counternarcotics campaign to over 75.

This should be the plan. All of Congress that pays no attention to whom they represent must be recalled and replaced. The Governorโ€™s of all States must see that representatives represent the wants and needs of their constituents.

This isn't some gotcha moment. The GOP literally passed a bill that gutted the ACA.

We don't need another performative vote to prove that Republicans want to take healthcare away from millions of Americans.

Our only way to inflict any real pain on the GOP was just given away for nothing though.

They want the poor to be in camps where they have to work for food. That is the end game. Not healthy enough to work then you don't eat. At least that is the "Between the lines" I got from 2025.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly whatโ€™s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

If you think the people throwing Great Gatsby-esque parties for themselves, while millions were denied their food assistance, are all of a sudden going to grow a conscience and save affordable healthcare, you clearly have not been paying attention.

Every single one of us who has supported the shutdown from day 1 feels betrayed in a way that's going to be nearly impossible to repair. Y'all made us look and feel like fools. We're not blind, stupid followers like MAGA. We know when we've been fucked around and we will remember every second of it.

โ€ผ๏ธWhat COP30 is carefully not saying:

Despite massive growth in 'clean' energies, fossil fuels still power 87% of our world's energy, โฌ‡๏ธ from 89% in 2015.

It's why CO2 emissions are still climbing. Why the 1.5c target is dead.

Bottom line: Fossil fuel producing states are not cutting production.

New York AG James said she's received complaints of stores in her state refusing EBT cards and has already sent out several cease and desist letters. Stores are not allowed to refuse SNAP benefits. If this happens to you, call the AG's hotline to report at 1-800-771-7755.

It is an insult to every person who showed up for NO KINGS, everyone who voted last Tuesday, everyone who stands up to ICE, every judge who has held the legal line, every small town person who stands up week after week in their red rural area with their signs saying โ€œVote Blueโ€. THEY LET US DOWN!!

Air pollution from fossil fuels kills 200,000 to 350,000 Americans.

Every year.

Slowly and gradually, I've noticed the problem of our food and household supplies, vegetable/produce, meat products, condiments, and paper goods, losing their once taken for granted quality.

Example: It's hard to find onions that aren't as large as a softball, old, and going bad.
Once rejected.

Two yrs. ago I was watching something where they were explaining/showing the normal life of N. Koreans.

What I never forgot was that they ate the same meal twice a day. It was something like a bowl of rice and a bowl of beans. That's it. Twice per day.

Since then, I've thought the same thing.
