Following up on our Packing® insight, we looked at teams from the Big 5 leagues in the current 25/26 season and ranked them by their average difference in bypassed defenders vs opponent. ⚽️

Bypassing defenders matters. A lot.

Teams that bypass more defenders than their opponent win 80.3% of the time (draws excluded). With a +10 bypassed defender gap, that jumps to 88.5%.
